Although there can be variations, it may be helpful to know the usual sequence of visits that lead to orthodontic treatment when it is indicated.
First Visit (New Patient Evaluation)
Either Dr. Compton or Dr. Boren will examine you and evaluate the need for orthodontic treatment.
Second Visit (Diagnostic Records)
If orthodontic treatment is indicated an appointment will be scheduled to take digital photographs, x-rays and impressions for models. Our impressions come in a variety of flavors including: cotton candy, strawberry, punch, watermelon, mint and cinnamon to name a few. We use these records to study your case and determine the specific treatment plan that is required.
Third Visit (Consultation)
We will explain the recommended treatment plan, estimated treatment time and the financial arrangements.
