Melissa

Melissa is an orthodontic assistant who has been working for Drs. Compton and Boren since August of 1995. She truly enjoys the fun and energetic atmosphere in the office, and loves watching smiles change with braces. She strives to make each patient feel comfortable and to know that she cares. Melissa grew up in Odessa, Colorado, and Oklahoma, but finally moved to Midland in 1995. She enjoys cooking, shopping, antiquing, traveling, reading, and working in her yard. She attends First Baptist Church in Midland. She is married to Rodney and has two daughters, Julie, 21, and Jennifer, 23.

Erin

Erin has been an orthodontic assistant for Drs. Compton and Boren since April of 2002. Her greatest satisfaction is seeing the self-confidence a child gets with a new beautiful smile at the end of treatment. She strives to provide the most comfortable and enjoyable appointment possible. Erin was born and raised in Midland. Her favorite pastimes are hunting, camping, and watching her little girl play sports. She is a member of Greenwood Baptist Church. She and her husband live out in the country and relish their time spent outdoors in the company of their daughter and their animals.

Stacy

Stacy has been an orthodontic assistant with Drs. Compton and Boren since July of 2006. She loves being able to work with young children in the community and strives to be compassionate and caring with each patient. She grew up in Midland, graduated in Borger, Texas, and then returned to Midland in 2006. Her happiest hours are those spent reading and spending time with her family. She is a member of Greenwood Baptist Church. She is happily married, and they have two children, Jonathan, 3, and Maggie Belle, 5 months.

Janie

Janie has been an orthodontic assistant with Drs. Compton and Boren since May of 2008. She really enjoys working in such a fun atmosphere and being around the patients. She strives to get each person the beautiful smile that they have always wanted and to provide an overall fantastic dental experience. Janie grew up in Houston and moved to Midland when she was 9. She loves spending time with her two children, Aracely and Jacqueline, husband, dog, Cali, and cat, Sassy.

Diana

Diana has been working with Drs. Compton and Boren since 2001. She used to be an orthodontic assistant, but is currently the patient records coordinator. She loves being able to be a part of the transformation that takes place during our patients' treatment. She feels privileged to see the changes in the smiles of our patients that improve self-confidence and pride. She strives to provide each patient with an enjoyable and pleasant experience and to always put the patient first. Diana grew up in many places, including New Mexico, Colorado, and Wyoming. She moved to Midland in 2001. She loves cooking, reading, spending time with her family, and would like to learn to quilt one day. She worships at First Baptist Church and is a part of the Sanctuary Choir and One Accord Ensemble. She has been married to her husband, Steve, for over thirty years. Their son, Daryl, 27, is married to a wonderful woman named Amber. Their daughter, Shelli, 23, attends NMSU in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Kelly

Kelly has been the office manager for Drs. Compton and Boren since July of 2008. She loves working one-on-one with each family and helping with their particular needs. She works hard to make sure our environment is a warm and friendly place. She strives to make orthodontic care affordable for every person, every financial situation, and every family. She grew up in Abilene and then moved to Midland in 1993. She loves soccer and other sports and running her kids around to all of their favorite activities. She is a member of Greenwood Baptist Church. She has been married for 11 years and has two children, who keep her very busy with soccer, basketball, t-ball, cheerleading, and school!

Gricel

Gricel has been the correspondence coordinator for Drs. Compton and Boren since July of 2008. She appreciates the relaxed and fun atmosphere in the office and the camaraderie working with the rest of the staff to make the patients' experiences an enjoyable one. She works to answer every patient's questions and to schedule his or her appointments as conveniently as possible. Gricel grew up in Pecos and moved to Midland in 1998. Among her favorite activities are reading, traveling, and snorkeling. She teaches primary class at 7th Day Adventist Church and is involved with the women's ministry. She has been married to Efren for 19 years and has a 17-year-old son, Efren Ray, and a 9-year old daughter, Daniela.

Amy

Amy has been the receptionist for Drs. Compton and Boren since June of 2000. Amy especially takes joy in being able to work with her friends and sister, Kelly, and in interacting with patients. She tries to ensure that each patient's needs are met and that the atmosphere in the office is warm and inviting. Amy grew up in Abilene and moved here in 1993. She enjoys soccer and hanging out with her friends and family. She is married with a son, 4, and a daughter, 9 months, and three dogs.

Sally

Sally has been an orthodontic assistant for Drs. Compton and Boren since August of 2008. She loves working with our patients, staff, and doctors. Her goals are to provide excellent dental care and to have good communication with each patient by understanding their feelings and concerns. Sally grew up in Midland and enjoys drawing and camping with her family. She is very involved in The 7th Day Adventist Church. She is married to a wonderful man, and they have a son and two daughters. She feels very blessed!

Paul

Paul has been the lab technician for Drs. Compton and Boren since 1982. He loves being a part of the orthodontic experience and helping to create prettier smiles and brighter outlooks on life. He works to ensure that every patient has a positive experience and to create appliances that are comfortable, attractive, and functional. Paul was born in New Orleans, went to high school in Houston, and college in Waco. After graduating in 1982, he started his career in Midland. He bought a home in 2005, and spends his free time renovating it. He delights in road bike riding and hanging out with his grandkids. Paul has been a member of Crestview Baptist Church for 20 years, and after becoming a widower in 2002, he became very active in the Singles Ministry. He was married to his late wife, Melinda, for 16 years. His step-daughter and her family live in Midland, and his step-son and his boys live in the Dallas area.

Allison

Allison has been the treatment and marketing coordinator for Drs. Compton and Boren since February of 2009. The most rewarding part of her work is getting to know the patients and their families and making them feel at ease through every step of treatment. She strives to explain treatment plans as clearly as possible and to match each family's style, needs, and budget. She feels very blessed to be a part of the smile-creating process! Allison grew up in Odessa, moved to Lubbock after high school, graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock in 2007, and moved to Midland in February 2009. During her free time, Allison can be found reading fiction novels, watching Texas Tech football games, playing the Wii, and spending time with her friends and family. She and Matt were married on May 16th in New Mexico. They have three Siberian Huskies, Anya, Nikolai, and Yuri.

Sandra

Sandra has been an orthodontic assistant with Drs. Compton and Boren since March of 2008. Sandra most appreciates working with each patient and providing him or her with a positive dental experience. She focuses her energy on making everyone feel at home and like family when they come into the office. Sandra grew up in Pecos and then moved to Midland in 2004. She loves playing sports, taking pictures of her family, shopping, and decorating her house. She is a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Sandra is married and has one daughter, Kenzie, and a dog, Bentley. She takes great pleasure in attending outdoor activities, watching her hubby play softball and barbecuing at home with friends and family.
