Dr. Boren grew up in Midland and returned home to join Dr. James Compton in 2002. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Abilene Christian University and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Oklahoma. He completed his Orthodontic specialty residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
At Boren Orthodontics, we work hard to treat our young patients the same way we would like to be treated: with respect, professionalism, and sensitivity. We understand the expectations of the patients and families we serve, and we do everything we can to make sure that each patient has an exceptional experience. We encourage the development of a close personal relationship in our practice. Our entire staff has been carefully selected and trained with the newest technology, like clear aligners and digital scanning (no impressions), making teeth straightening easier and more efficient. We strife to make every appointment an enjoyable one.

Dr. Boren and his wife, Shawnna, have two sons. Dr. Boren loves to travel with his family and to spend time outdoors.

Dr. Boren’s office is such a pleasant place. They make children feel safe and welcome you with a genuine smile. Questions are always answered. I had taken my youngest son to get evaluated and Dr. Boren said “ Come back in a year!” That was awesome! Simply because he could have put him on a plan but my son didn’t really “NEED” braces yet. I appreciate that Dr. Boren is more interested in the oral health of children and we appreciate that a lot. Dr. Boren and his staff are Amazing! I recommend 100%!
